Bangladesh Liberation War Museum (LWM) has procured a piece of land to build its permanent building in Dhaka city. A design for the museum has been finalized through an open competition. It is a matter of time and capital to start constructing this new building.
New York Film Center (NYFC) has organized a documentary film screening of "Liberation War 1947-1971", directed by Tanvir Mokammel and produced by LWM. The post-screening discussion will be held by Oli Mohammad (official representative of LWM) from Houston and Hasan Ferdous. The talk is about how the Bengalee, living in the United States, can help in the building process of the new museum.
